Ehlers-Danlos syndrome (EDS) is a heterogeneous group of heritable connective tissue disorders, characterized by articular (joint) hypermobility, skin extensibility and tissue fragility.
The Iowa EDNF welcomes you to our website. Our support group meets the 3rd
Saturday of every other month in January, March, May, July, September, and November
(please check the calendar for the specific
dates) to give support to members who have Ehlers Danlos Syndrome and to educate
others about this connective tissue disorder. We are affilliated with the national
EDNF organization. If you have any questions, please feel free to send an email
to the chapter contact found on the bottom of the Homepage. Thank you for visiting
our site and for any input that you might have to make this a better website to
meet the needs of those who have EDS, their families, friends, and supporters. |
